Wood Tiger Moth's Narrow Escape

Our oldest daughter found this Wood Tiger Moth inside her chickens' coop.  Yes, the infamous, lone chicken, who roosts and poops on our newly painted deck, I might add.  Anyhow, enjoy these beautiful photos... you can probably even hear my daughter's laughter!

The bites on her hand are NOT from the moth. 
They are from the notorious Alaskan mosquitoes!
